Manage test evaluations
Only tests that contain at least one Essay type of question having weight more than zero can be evaluated by a designated assessor.
Learning administrator creates a test with Essay type question having weight more than zero and adds assessors to the test. They also create classes where they attach the test as content to be consumed by learners as part of the class completion process.
When learners enroll for the class, Cornerstone Saba assigns the test to learners.
When learners complete a test that contains Essay type questions, the test moves to the Pending Evaluation status and the evaluators are notified about the test completion via Inbox notification. Designated assessors provide the score and submit the test result for each learner. The maximum score allowed is the weight of the essay question. Essay type questions with zero weight are not considered for evaluation. The status of such questions is displayed as "Neutral". The status of an essay type question with weight greater than zero remains "Not Evaluated" till an assessor evaluates the test. Once an assessor evaluates a test, the test is removed from the remaining assessors' desks and the status changes to "Correct", "Incorrect" or "Partial Correct" depending on the test score. Learners can see the test score only after the evaluation is complete. If an essay type question is skipped, then its status appears as "Not Evaluated".
