Manage your subscriptions
What is a subscription?
A Subscription is a package of multiple courses and classes that learners can consume at a fixed price for a defined period or cost. Learning administrators can create subscriptions and make them available to learners for consumption through the learning catalog. They can add items to the subscription. The items can be specific classes and courses or delivery types or all courses in the catalog. They can add audience types, set pricing, expiry limits, and cancellation policies for the subscription. They can optionally define a grace period after which the order cannot be cancelled.
A subscription can be shared with limited people. After selecting the subscriber and subscription, learning administrator can mention the number of users in the Unassigned Users column who can use the subscription.
What is a subscription item?
A Subscription item is a course or class that belongs to a subscription. Learning administrators can add items to a subscription.
- Entire Learning Catalog
All course belonging to the Cornerstone Saba learning catalog can be selected as subscription items.
- Delivery Types
All courses belonging to one or more delivery types can be selected as subscription items. This option is hidden if the entire learning catalog option is selected as subscription item.
- Specific Courses and Classes
Specific courses and classes can be selected as subscription items. Similarly, specific courses and classes can be selected to be excluded from the subscription as well. The option to exclude is helpful when combined with the first two options. For example, if the entire learning catalog is selected to be included as subscription items, then the courses that are selected for exclusion are excluded from the subscription.
